2012 Audition Information Announced

Dates - October 9 (Batterie Only)
October 16, 23 (Front Ensemble and Batterie)

Time: 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Location - Abbey Floor and Design;
17200 Farmington Rd. Livonia, MI
(It is just North of 6 mile on the East side of the Road next to the
Secretary of State.)

Fee - $15 (Cash or Check Made out to Motor City Percussion)
Fee is due when you arrive to your first audition date. No exceptions. Fee
will cover Staff expenses, Administrative and building costs.

Please fill out the audition form to receive your audition packet. Technique packets will be sent from the respective section techs as well.

About Motor City Percussion
Motor City Percussion is a Percussion Independent Open Class (PIO) ensemble that is based in the Metro Detroit area of Michigan. MCP has been competing in the WGI and MCGC circuits for the past Seven years with members from high schools, and colleges all across Michigan. Our membership is open to any interested percussionist between the ages of 13 to 22. MCP offers a unique family experience to their members with a large dedicated full time staff with years of teaching and performing experience , and a sizeable group of veteran members that have marched for multiple seasons. Together our goal is to offer a high quality, comfortable, and competitive experience in marching percussion. Mission Statement
To promote a challenging independent music education program that will enable talented musicians to further their musical education through positive experiences. Through this opportunity, participants will pursue their special musical interests, as well as develop leadership skills, competitive qualities, dependability, and self confidence all while becoming responsible and caring adults.

Motor City Percussion is a Non-Profit Youth Percussion Program with pending 501 (c) 3 Status.
